School of Blinds event

Pretoria School for Cerebral Palsy 

Pretoria School for Cerebral Palsy is a school for learners (3-18 years old) with cerebral palsy, physical disability, spina bifida, macular dystrophy, and post-trauma which has confirmed that for us; gardening can bring about positive change in people's lives, in our communities and in the environment as a whole. In the year 2016, Thatego donated a Nutritional Garden to the children of Pretoria school for cerebral palsy and we have been maintaining it to date. We have continued to visit the school. These little ones have become part of our family and we will continue to care for them.

Maile Soccer Tournament

We at Thatego strive to continuously improve the lives of the communities within which we operate, no matter how big or small the impact.

Maile is a community within Rustenburg where we host Soccer Tournaments. This Tournament was birthed by a vision aimed to give back to the youth and their residing communities through means of soccer. Giving young teenagers the opportunity to express themselves and showcase their talent.

We believe that football is a sport played by many and it is loved by many. Scoring the best life decision is not simple for youths as evidenced by many who take and make the wrong passes ending with unplanned and unwanted pregnancies, HIV and AIDS and other sexually transmitted diseases, crime, and dropping out of school. The purpose of this tournament is to help young talented footballers realize their talent and help achieve their dreams.

Nourishing meals for the struggling elderly

Meals on wheels Community Services is a non-profit organisation that utilises voluntary helpers who prepare and deliver nourishing meals to the struggling elderly in the comfort of their homes. We have established a great relationship with this team in 2017 and have since then been a proud sponsor of their charity work.
